PACIFIC ENERGY

First agrivoltaic power plant with storage in French Polynesia. Agrodev is in charge of the AMO for the agricultural part of the project.

Led by the SARL headed by Albert Moux, this ambitious project aims to promote the production of renewable energies to foster the sustainable development of Fenua and control electricity production costs.

The company is positioning itself as a pioneer in the field of agrivoltaics in Polynesia, by integrating various agricultural technologies on a single site, such as livestock breeding, open-field and greenhouse crops, in partnership with SCA Vaihiria. The project also includes the launch of a new sheep sector in partnership with breeders in the south of Tahiti, thus contributing to the country's food autonomy.

At the same time, it aims to stimulate the economic development of the southern zone of Tahiti, where activity is expected to grow in the coming years. This project also marks the transformation of the energy activities of Mr. Albert Moux's family group.

In terms of job creation, the operation of the plant and the agricultural operations will ultimately generate around fifteen direct and indirect jobs (employees and subcontractors), mainly on the east coast and the Taravao area.
