South Pacific Cosmetology Laboratory: UEBT

South Pacific Cosmetology Laboratory & Yves ROCHER

AGRODEV was asked to carry out an initial diagnosis of Tiare Tahiti suppliers and to provide agronomic monitoring of the plots of six partner farmers. A technical sheet on the cultivation of Gardenia taitensis was also developed to improve agricultural practices.

The South Pacific cosmetology laboratory has undertaken a UEBT certification process:

The latter consists of evaluating all suppliers in the supply chain leading to a cosmetic. The principle is to evaluate the level of compliance at a time T0, to implement actions and to evaluate their impacts on years N+1, N+2, etc. As a supplier of monoi, the South Pacific cosmetology laboratory must comply with the requirements of this certification and must also verify and ensure that its Tiare suppliers comply with them.

AGRODEV was asked to carry out an initial diagnosis of suppliers of Tahiti tiare flowers, followed by agronomic and documentary support for the plots of six partner farmers.

As part of this project, a detailed technical sheet on the cultivation of Gardenia taitensis was also designed to support good agricultural practices and optimize production.
